Congratulations to our very own, Dr. Jeanne Eulberg, who was awarded the Sister Shawn Marie Barry Distinguished Service to Youth Award at the annual PNACAC (Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling) Conference in Boise. Dr. Eulberg received this award in front of roughly 350 college counseling/admission colleagues from all over the country.

This award is named for the St. Mary’s Academy of Portland’s former college counselor who lost her battle with cancer in 1995. Recipients of the award must have a minimum of ten years of high school or college teaching and/or counseling experience with at least three years in their current position. They must be currently engaged in counseling and be recognized as “those who have given outstanding and faithful service to youth.”

The O’Dea community is grateful for all of Dr. Eulberg’s hard work and helping prepare our young men for college and beyond!

Posted April 27, 2017

O'Dea High School

The O’Dea Lacrosse Team worked hard to raise funds for an organized trip to San Diego over spring break. In addition to daily practices, two games, and team building exercises, Coach Craig Snyder (U.S. Naval Academy graduate) was able to secure a visit to the Navy Seal Special Warfare Training Center. This was an exceptional opportunity for our young student-athletes to learn about personal accountability and responsibility, leadership development, and to strengthen their brotherhood.
