Strategic Plan

The 2019–2024 Strategic Plan, “Honoring Our Traditions: Building Our Future” is the result of a year-long dialog beginning with the O’Dea High School Advisory Board Retreat in October 2018. Exercises during the retreat and throughout the ensuing year with faculty, staff and our greater community helped us focus on initiatives we feel are most important for the success of our school. For nearly 100 years, O’Dea has provided a Catholic education to young men in an environment reflective of the cultural, ethnic and socio-economic diversity that exists in the greater Seattle region. As we approach our 100 year anniversary in 2023, we are blessed with the unique opportunity to ground ourselves in the mission and values that have served us so well and also ensure we are strategically positioned to move into our next 100 years. With this Strategic Plan, we are confident in our approach to ensure O’Dea will continue to build upon academic excellence and remain at the forefront of Catholic education. We look forward to educating young men striving for spiritual, intellectual and physical excellence grounded in our core values of Character, Faith, and Service. We are excited to engage with our alumni in meaningful ways. And ultimately, we anticipate a financial future that allows us to accomplish our vision.
