Alumni Events

Memorial Mass

O’Dea High School celebrated its annual Alumni Memorial Mass on Thursday, November 1, 2018, honoring all deceased O’Dea alumni at St. James Cathedral. Over 70 alumni, friends and family attended this event, along with the entire O’Dea student body, faculty and staff. Our next Alumni Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, January 30, 2020.

Alumni – Senior Class Brotherhood Event

This event celebrates the O’Dea Brotherhood and takes place annually at the Washington Athletic Club during the spring. Present at this occasion are alumni from various decades, the entire O’Dea senior class and selected staff. This is a great opportunity for the alumni to welcome the new wave of young men to the O’Dea Alumni Association. In addition, this is an amazing networking opportunity for the O’Dea seniors; they can ask questions and get to know about various professional endeavors of men who were once in their shoes as students of O’Dea High School.

Career Day

2018 marked the return of O’Dea’s Career Day. The past two years over 40 alumni from various professions have volunteered their time talking to our Juniors and Seniors about their career path and current job. Our next planned Career Day will be Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Open Gym

Now a very popular annual event in December, alumni from the 80s/90s/2000s pack out the newly renovated O’Dea gym for pick-up basketball games and to catch up with friends and former coaches. Save the date, Saturday, December 21, 2019, for our next open gym.
