Fall 2023 School Year Orientation Schedule

Freshmen & Transfer Orientation – Welcome to the O’Dea Brotherhood!
We look forward to welcoming our new students August 23rd and 24th. Freshmen and transfer students will join us on Wednesday and freshmen only will join us on Thursday. We have dynamic days planned including time to connect with other new students, engage in House competitions, meet teachers, develop key learning strategies, meet student leaders, and engage with O’Dea technology. Please contact Rory McNulty, House Director with questions.

Students are welcome to wear shorts, sweats, jeans, and t-shirts during orientation activities. No slides or crocs are allowed.

First Day of School – Friday, August 25th
We will start school with all students on Friday, August 26th. O’Dea’s standard appearance code is in effect (collared shirt tucked in, dress pants, soft-soled closed-toe shoes). For more details on the Appearance Code, please see page 23 of the Student Handbook.

Wednesday 8/23: 12:00PM-2:25PM (9th Grade & Transfers Only)
Thursday 8/24: 8:10AM-2:25PM (9th Grade Only, lunch provided)
Friday 8/25: 8:10AM-2:25PM (All Students – Unified Day)
