POSH Auction – Be True to Your School!

Each year at O’Dea there are special moments that remind us how blessed we are to be part of this amazing school community. The generosity and commitment demonstrated during our 2017 POSH Gala Auction, along with the energy felt bringing the auction to O’Dea for the first time, provided such a moment. The support displayed for our young men was incredible. This year’s auction raised over $700,000, with the fund-a-need initiative raising just over $400,000.

The money raised during fund-a-need will help us reach our goal of renovating the entire 3rd  floor this summer, including the addition of two classrooms. This project will allow us to enhance our learning environment, further develop student and faculty interactions, and update technology. The remaining net proceeds will help us to continue providing financial aid to families in need. Socio-economic diversity is essential to the O’Dea experience and a signature strength of our student body.

We want to thank Megan Fricke, our auction chair, and all the other amazing volunteers for their dedication and leadership. Their time and effort made the auction such a success.

Next year’s auction will be held on Saturday, March 17th at O’Dea. Mark it on your calendar now as there is no better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than with the Fighting Irish! Please contact the Advancement Department if you would like to help organize this fun event.
