O'Dea High School

Irish Cup

O’Dea has a longstanding tradition of academic and athletic success.  This tradition is grounded in a unique competitive spirit which drives O’Dea students to work hard to succeed and win with honor.  O’Dea’s Irish Cup is awarded each year to the House that demonstrates excellence in five areas: Academics, Service, Spirit, Discipline and House Games. The goal of the Irish Cup is to promote healthy competition that encourages academic success, boosts spirit, and enhances school pride.

Congratulations to the Waterford House for winning the 2015-2016 Irish Cup! Throughout the year they kept a strong focus on earning points in each of the five Irish Cup categories. Their victory is a huge credit to Dean Brandon Maul, all Waterford Mentor Teachers, and especially to the hard work and extra effort of Waterford students who showed their leadership all year long.
