O’Dea Tennis

The O’Dea High School Tennis Team competes in the spring as part of the highly competitive Metro League, which boasts a history of sourcing State Champions.

The Fighting Irish compete in the following matches:

  • 2 boys singles
  • 3 boys doubles

The team that wins at least 3 of the 5 matches during a head-to-head match-up is deemed the winner of the competition!

Coach's Corner

Coach Todd Jordan is entering his third season as the Head Coach of the Fighting Irish Tennis Team. Todd has over 25 years of tennis coaching experience. He spent 15 years coaching tennis in San Diego where he was a high school coach at Rancho Bernardo High School and also ran his own junior academy.  Currently when Todd is not at O’Dea, he coaches all levels and ages of players at Tennis Center Sand Point and Sand Point Country Club.  Additionally, Todd still competes regularly in local and national tournaments and he is currently the top ranked player in the Men’s 45’s singles division in the Pacific Northwest.
