O’Dea Afternoon Activities

We are excited to announce a new menu of after school activity options that are open to all O’Dea students.  Involvement is an important aspect of the O’Dea experience, and we want to provide opportunities for everyone to engage in a variety of ways.  Please encourage your student to attend after school activities, no matter their level of experience

• Every Monday, explore your creative side in the Maker Space in room 212 with 3-D printers, laser cutters, and other fabrication tools.
• Tuesday is Chess in room 303, with a wide range of skill levels participating.  Join us to compete for the top spot or to learn a game that will last a lifetime.
• Wednesday is our weekly service day, open to all O’Dea faculty, staff, and students.  Each week we will have a service option available for anyone to drop in and support the community.  This could include working at the Cathedral Kitchen, cleaning up around the neighborhood, working with the senior centers in the neighborhood, and other great opportunities to get involved and give back.  No sign-up needed, just meet us in the courtyard every Wednesday at 2:45 PM.
