The Little Irish Program at O’Dea High School is designed to match a young student (boys and girls grades K-6) with an O’Dea football player. The purpose of the program is to encourage our young men to become positive leaders and role models in the greater O’Dea community. In addition, the program presents an opportunity for the young people of our community to have a mentor in their lives.
In June 2024, Little Irish was renamed to Andrew’s Little Irish, in honor and memory of Andrew Walker, Class of 2018.
The Andrew’s Little Irish Program is $25 per child, is suitable for ages K-6 and includes the following:
- O’Dea youth football jersey
- Little Irish personalized ID card
- O’Dea mini football
- Free admission to all regular season, home football and basketball games, and the opportunity to join the players on the field before the game
- Weekly phone calls from your child’s football player
- Social events during the year with your child’s football player

A great way to spend an evening, our Jersey Nights give students the chance to show off their school spirit and enjoy free admission to games featuring our Metro All-Sports Trophy winning athletic program!

O’Dea hosts several multi-day and single day athletic camps including football, basketball, lacrosse and baseball. In addition, we host enrichment camps that are both educational and fun. These camps are led by O’Dea faculty, staff, and coaches.
