O’Dea appreciates all of the hard work you have contributed over the past four years and we hope this page will help you enjoy this exciting time that is approaching while staying organized and well-informed. Please note: O’Dea graduates will have access to their O’Dea office 365 account and data through August of their graduating year and are responsible for backing up their data prior to September 1st. 


Senior Packets
Senior Packets from Jostens were distributed to all seniors on October 28th and 29th. Orders placed on the Jostens website by November 10, 2021, will receive discounted pricing and free shipping. Pick-up for most items will be on November 12th in the O’Dea courtyard during lunch and after school. If you did not receive a packet, please contact Mr. Sylvester to arrange a pick-up.

Cap/Gown/Tassel Unit/Announcements
O’Dea High School provides the required Cap, Gown and Tassel Unit for all graduating seniors free of charge.  Please complete and submit the sizing form as soon as possible. The deadline for ordering your cap and gown is Wednesday, December 1st. Cap/Gown/Tassel Unit will be delivered to O’Dea and distributed to seniors in the spring. Seniors also receive 10 free official graduation announcements. For more information, click here for a video from our Jostens representative Mike Annis.

Mother/Senior Blessing & Breakfast – Friday, May 6, 2022, 9:00AM-Noon
The Mother/Senior Blessing and Breakfast will be held at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, 2211 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA. There are no classes for seniors on this day and attendance is mandatory.  If for any reason a mother, or guardian in place of a mother, (grandmother, aunt, etc) is unable to attend, seniors, are to attend with a classmate.

Prom – Friday, May 6th, 2022, 8:00PM-Midnight
Prom will be held on the evening at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, 2211 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA. Cost of the senior prom will be $75 per couple.

Graduation Rehearsal – Tuesday, May 31st, 8:00AM

  • Rehearsal begins at 8AM in the gym.
  • All seniors must be present at practice to walk in graduation.
  • Seniors need to be in school dress code for practice (no shorts or sweats).
  • If seniors notified us about a gown or cap that does not fit, it needs to be brought with them to practice. They will exchange it at the end of rehearsal. This exchange cannot be done on the day of graduation.
  • Each family will receive seven (7) tickets and no extra tickets are available. This limit is set by St. James Cathedral and their current gathering guidelines.

Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation –  Wednesday June 1st, 7:00PM @ St. James Cathedral

  • Admittance is by ticket only.
  • Each family will receive seven (7) tickets
  • No extra tickets are available. This limit is set by St. James Cathedral and their current gathering restrictions.
  • Seniors will receive their graduation tickets at the conclusion of Graduation rehearsal.

35th Senior Escape All Night Party – Wednesday, June 1st, 9:30PM-5:00AM.

  • Graduates need to report to the O’Dea gym at 9:30PM.
  • Graduates will not be able to use their phones during the party.
  • Parents will be provided with an emergency number to reach someone if needed.
  • It is recommended that parents pick up their son at 5:30 AM at O’Dea. It is not recommended that they drive or that their cars be left in the parking lot overnight. We are not responsible for any theft or damage to cars. This may be the last time they are all together as a class and their last O’Dea bus ride!  Alums from years past still come back and talk about what a great night it was.
