O’Dea appreciates all of the hard work you have contributed over the past four years and we hope this page will help you enjoy this exciting time that is approaching while staying organized and well-informed. Please note: O’Dea graduates will have access to their O’Dea office 365 account and data through August of their graduating year and are responsible for backing up their data prior to September 1st. 

UPCOMING DATES & INFORMATION:

Mother/Senior Blessing & Breakfast – Friday, May 6, 2022, 9:00AM-Noon

  • The Mother/Senior Blessing and Breakfast will be held at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, 2211 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA.
  • There are no classes for seniors on this day and attendance is mandatory.
  • If for any reason a mother, or guardian in place of a mother, (grandmother, aunt, etc) is unable to attend, seniors are to attend with a classmate.
  • Parking will be in the Bell Street Pier Garage located at 2323 Elliott Avenue, Seattle WA 98121. A sky bridge connects the parking lot to the entrance of Bell Harbor Conference Center.
  • O’Dea will provide parking validation tickets at the Blessing.

Prom – Friday, May 6th, 2022, 7:00PM-Midnight

  • Seniors attending Prom must have their guest form submitted to Mr. Sylvester by May 5th. Click here for a guest form. Guest forms are also available in the Main Office.
  • Prom will be held at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, 2211 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA.
  • Cost of the senior prom is $75 per couple. Prom tickets can be purchased here.
  • Parking will be in the Bell Street Pier Garage located at 2323 Elliott Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121. A sky bridge connects the parking lot to the entrance of Bell Harbor Conference Center. O’Dea will validate 1 parking pass per student free of charge. Validation tickets will be given during Prom to be used upon exiting the garage.

Graduation Rehearsal – Tuesday, May 31st, 8:00AM

  • Rehearsal begins at 8AM in the gym.
  • All seniors must be present at practice to walk in graduation.
  • Appearance code is Mass attire (white dress shirt, maroon/gold tie, dress pants or khakis).
  • At the conclusion of graduation rehearsal, students will walk as a class to the Washington Athletic Club for the Alumni Senior Class Brotherhood Luncheon from 11:30am-1:30pm. Lunch is free of charge.  At the conclusion of lunch, students will walk back to O’Dea and are dismissed.
  • If seniors notified us about a gown or cap that does not fit, it needs to be brought with them to practice. They will exchange it at the end of rehearsal. This exchange cannot be done on the day of graduation.

Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation –  Wednesday June 1st, 7:00PM @ St. James Cathedral

  • Admittance is by ticket only.
  • All senior families will receive 8 tickets.
  • Seniors will receive their graduation tickets on their last day of class.
  • All graduates will receive a picture of their son receiving their diploma, taken by a professional photographer.  The cathedral does not allow people to come forward with cameras or phones.
  • The photographer will also be available for individual or family photo’s taken in front of the school from 4:30PM–6:30PM. Click here for a photo order form. Payment can be made with cash or check payable to the photographer at the time.

35th Senior Escape All Night Party – Wednesday, June 1st, 9:30PM-5:00AM.

  • Graduates need to report to the O’Dea gym at 9:30PM.
  • Graduates will not be able to use their phones during the party.
  • Parents will be provided with an emergency number to reach someone if needed.
  • It is recommended that parents pick up their son at 5:30 AM at O’Dea. It is not recommended that they drive or that their cars be left in the parking lot overnight. We are not responsible for any theft or damage to cars. This may be the last time they are all together as a class and their last O’Dea bus ride!  Alums from years past still come back and talk about what a great night it was.
