Counseling
To support the young men attending O’Dea High School reach their full potential as individual learners, the counseling department features a grade level service delivery model. In this model, each grade level is assigned a counselor. The counselor will provide guidance in three focus areas meeting the unique needs of students in each grade. The three focus areas include guidance related to academic issues, the college admissions process, and personal counseling.

Child Protective Services (CPS) is responsible for receiving and investigating reports of suspected child abuse and neglect. Reports received by CPS are assessed to determine whether the report meets the legal definition of abuse or neglect and how dangerous the situation is.
