The 104th Encounter Retreat will be held at Camp Don Bosco for juniors and seniors February 21-24. Roughly 4,000 O’Dea young men have shared in this faith experience, bonding them to their brothers in a special way and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Save the date for the initial Celebrate O’Dea 2024 Auction Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 9th from 4:00-5:00 PM in the SRC.  Please join us for more information on how to participate – there are many different roles available! We are also looking for co-chairs for this year’s auction. If you are interested in taking on this role or would like to nominate someone, please don’t hesitate to reach out.  This is a great way to meet other parents and get insider knowledge about the auction! Parents of the Class of 2025 are invited to join the O’Dea Counseling Department on Wednesday, January 31st from 6:00-7:00 PM in the Student Resource Center (4th Floor) as they speak about the college application process.

In partnership with the Providence Regina House, O’Dea is continuing our tradition of adopting ten families who need assistance in providing Christmas gifts. These families are often looking for new clothing, jackets, shoes, kitchen and bathroom essentials. Family assignments are by Mentor Group and you can find each Sign-Up Genius here. All gifts should be turned in to Mentor Groups by December 14th. Gifts should be unwrapped, but labeled with the recipient’s name. Thank you for your generosity during the Season of Advent!
