Several volunteer opportunities are available for parents and guardians of O’Dea students and while no specific time commitment is required, we encourage your support and participation whenever possible. With your generous assistance we are able to keep our tuition affordable.

Back to School Night - Assist with catered dinner for the faculty and staff. (September)
Bite of O'Dea - An O’Dea tradition for more than 15 years. A Friday evening party to support scholarships. (October)
Deck the Halls - Decorate O’Dea for the Christmas season. Decorations are removed prior to Christmas vacation (December - 1st Saturday)
End-of-the-Year Faculty & Staff Luncheon - Catered lunch hosted by the Mothers’ Club in the Library. (June)
Faculty & Staff Midyear Brunch - Midyear Brunch hosted for our faculty and staff. (January)
Family Christmas Project - Assist classrooms with gift wrapping for families in need. Provide wrapping paper and supplies for project. Bring treats for class. (December)
Graduation Reception - Decorating begins earlier in the day. Dine with the committee while graduation is taking place. Return to host reception in O’Dea gym. (May)
Mailing Committee - Assist with special mailing as needed. (August-June)
Newsletter Team - Coordinate and organize Mothers’ Club newsletter. Needs some proficiency with Publisher and creativity. (September - May Monthly)
Treats for the Faculty & Staff - Provide sweet and savory treats for faculty & staff. (October - June Monthly)
Open House for Prospective Students - Freshman and Sophomore families supply the cookies or brownies. All mothers are invited to welcome and serve our guests. (November)
Photographer - Photographers take pictures at various Mothers' Club events for publication in the Mothers' Club monthly newsletter.
Pizza Lunch Day - Serve pizza during lunch to freshmen and sophomores. (September-May Monthly)
Sales & Merchandise Team - Sale of pom poms, mini O’Dea logo bags and general merchandise at various events. (September-May)
