Meeting began at 6:15 PM

* Opening prayer and welcome: Brother Murray, O'Dea Principal
* Pizzas provided by Max Borthwick ’88, and his new restaurant, Primo
* Class Reunions – David Mazzeo ’99, Alumni Director
- Classes ending with a “6” or “1” will celebrate reunions next year
- Class of 1961 is preparing for their 50th and Class of 2001 their 10th
- Important to send updates to Alumni Director, David Mazzeo ’99, dmazzeo@odea.org, to keep class lists current
- Will be held at The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge, Friday, June 17, 2011
- Contact Greg Nelson ’79, nelson@comcast.net, if you wish to help with planning and/or sponsorships
- New handicap system will be used
* Alumni Association and Board – Dave Livingston, father of three O’Dea graduates and a graduate of Br. Rice High School, Michigan
- Alumni activities and support at Br. Rice
- Possibility of organizing a luncheon for graduating seniors and alumni to network and showcase the quality of men who attend O’Dea
- Please review Br. Rice Alumni Association by-laws and prepare to discuss at next meeting, December 7th, 6:00 – 7:30 PM in the O’Dea Library.
* Annual Fund Phonathon and POSH Auction – Dianne Irwin, Director of Development
- Auction dates: March 18th in the O’Dea Gym; March 19th at the Washington State Convention Center
- Phonathon is in process
- Encouraged alumni participation and support
* O’Dea Website - Kristian Patterson ’01, Developer of new O’Dea website
- Explained the creation and launching of the new website
* Memorial Scholarships
- Joe Toner ’98 spoke on the scholarship created by his class, The Officer Joselito (“Lito”) A. Barber Memorial Scholarship Fund
- Josh Petersen ’89 and Ben Saxton ’89 spoke on scholarship created by their class, the Joshua King Leadership Award
* Next Alumni Meeting
- Tuesday, December 7th, 6:00 – 7:30 PM
- O’Dea Library
- Dinner included
- Agenda items will include discussion on the formation of an O’Dea Alumni Association and adopting by-laws
- Please review the by-laws of the Brother Rice High School Alumni Association and prepare for discussion at the meeting
